ACCO UK Ltd, the UK's largest manufacturer of office products, business machines and fine art materials was formed in 1992 as a result of the integration of ACCO Europe Ltd and Rexel Ltd, the leading office products manufacturer in the UK. ACCO UK Limited is now the market leader with a broad portfolio of high quality products which are sold in more than 120 countries.Our long business heritage began in 1832 with the original manufacture of Derwent high-quality fine-art pencils, a craft tradition that still continues today. In the early 1900's the launch of what was then an innovatory accounting system from the USA established Twinlock on its path to becoming a major company. The ensuring decades saw the creation of Sasco and ACCOdata and their subsequent development into market leaders within ACCO Europe Ltd. Rexel Ltd. was formed in 1939 with a product range that consisted of adhesive tapes, staplers and punches. Further investment in stapling and the development of a new concept – the Nyrex plastic file – established Rexel Ltd. as a market leader.
